Topic: The Big Ideas / #502. Timothy Ferriss: Dreams & Bitching Bitching, like any other thought pattern, is not merely a passive perspective. Complaining is a deliberate act of pulling an idea out of one’s arse. The more someone bitches, the more they summon the creative energies to attract something about which to bitch. Bitches may seem fully justified, but realize that whenever someone bitches, they are placing their order for sh*t sandwich and more of the same. I think this goes hand-in-hand with one of the other thousand, yet brilliant, points of light. I’m loosing track of them – which is probably a good thing (in other words, I am not bitching about having too much to read here!). |

Topic: The Big Ideas / #1. thinkAreté.theManifesto Yes! Thanks! “If you’re bent wi’ arthritis, I’ve always been a person of action. What good does it to try to label this action? “oh, that is Integral.” Who cares? “oh, that is New Age.” Who cares? “oh, that is Post Modern.” Who cares? “oh, that takes care of the earth.” Who CARES? “oh, that is soooo zen.” WHO CARES? Don’t CALL it. Be it. That is what the Arete Manifesto says to me. I have always been action, will always BE action. Call it whatever you want. |
