How true is that?!?

Reminds me of the truism that most people spend more time planning their vacations than they spend planning their lives.

How do we possibly expect to have an ideal life is we don’t spend any time thinking about what that ideal would look like?!!?

Hmmmm…

Can’t figure that one out.

Alas, Ferris offer some (big!) questions to help jump-start your dreaming process:

-    What would you do, day-to-day, if you had $100 million in the bank?
-    What would make you most excited to wake up in the morning to another day?
-    What are you good at?
-    What could you be the best at?
-    What makes you happy?
-    What excites you?
-    What makes you feel accomplished and good about yourself?
-    What are you most proud of having accomplished in your life? Can you repeat this or further develop it?
-    What do you enjoy sharing or experiencing with other people?

…

One more plug: Get the book. It rocks. In addition to having worksheets to rock the next steps of this exercise, it’s got a LOT of other “Aha!” and “No sh*t!!” moments that you’ll love.

Bitching, like any other thought pattern, is not merely a passive perspective. Complaining is a deliberate act of pulling an idea out of one’s arse. The more someone bitches, the more they summon the creative energies to attract something about which to bitch. Bitches may seem fully justified, but realize that whenever someone bitches, they are placing their order for sh*t sandwich and more of the same.

I think this goes hand-in-hand with one of the other thousand, yet brilliant, points of light. I’m loosing track of them – which is probably a good thing (in other words, I am not bitching about having too much to read here!).
