“It is the greatest good for an individual to discuss virtue (aka Areté) every day...

for the unexamined life is not worth living."

~ Socrates, 5th century bce Greek philosopher

from The Apology

Today’s recommended assignments:

1. Discuss virtue (aka Areté) with some friends. How about just a little less pop culture/sports/business/politics/whatever and a little more Areté?!

2. Spend some time "examining" your life. What/who do love the most? What things would you like to create? What would you do if you weren't afraid? ...?

Let’s live an examined life.

…

And don’t forget this wisdom from Dan Millman: “The unlived life is not worth examining.” :)
