      <description>&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#8217;s funny you bring this up.  I&amp;#8217;ve noticed a by-product of my attempt to get better mileage on the way to work in the morning has actually cut down on my tendency towards road-rage toward the other drivers.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;1. My focus is on my own driving &amp;#8211; less agressively.  &lt;br /&gt;2. Since I&amp;#8217;m driving a bit slower, people are less likely to be going slower than I am when they cut me off!  I don&amp;#8217;t have to slam on the breaks.  &lt;br /&gt;3. It&amp;#8217;s also easier to maintain a safe distance between my front bumper and the cars ahead of me.&lt;br /&gt;4. The result &amp;#8211; increased my average gas mileage from 22 &lt;span class="caps"&gt;MPG&lt;/span&gt; to 25 &lt;span class="caps"&gt;MPG&lt;/span&gt; &amp;#8211; a small victory, sure, but a good one.  Better yet, I seem to arrive at work in much better spirits and ready to give cheerful attention to my job. &lt;br /&gt;5. So by changing my driving habits (regardless of the reason) I&amp;#8217;ve stumbled onto a solution to a more stressful problem I&amp;#8217;ve lived with for a long, my reaction to others on the highway.       <description>&lt;p&gt;Want to get full &lt;em&gt;real &lt;/em&gt;fast?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Just learn to eat your projections.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Let&amp;rsquo;s say you&amp;rsquo;re criticizing someone. (Hypothetically, of course. :))&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ll be the example: In my less enlightened moments (still tragically too often), I find myself criticizing my Goddess about not doing something she committed to doing (like meditating, getting up early, or something like that).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, here&amp;rsquo;s the funny thing: When *I* am doing those things, I never criticize her. It&amp;rsquo;s only when I&amp;rsquo;m not living my life fully that I give her a hard time.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, what I&amp;rsquo;m doing is &lt;em&gt;projecting &lt;/em&gt;my own shit onto her. Not cool. (Seriously. Projecting our shit on anyone just isn&amp;rsquo;t cool, wouldn&amp;rsquo;t you agree? :))&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The secret: whatever we&amp;rsquo;re criticizing someone about has nothing to do with them and &lt;em&gt;everything &lt;/em&gt;to do with us.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The rule: don&amp;rsquo;t put your projections on other people. Eat &amp;lsquo;em. Yum.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
